Coral Propagation Tracking Software

Coral propagation tracking software answers a simple question: which cut came from which colony, and is it ready to sell? ReefDiary Enterprise records propagation batches, supplier shipments, and the point at which a frag moves onto the storefront.

What gets tracked

A propagation record needs the parent, the batch, the date, and the supplier when the colony came in from somewhere else. ReefDiary’s shop propagation screens cover batches, suppliers, and incoming coral or livestock shipments.

Sale-ready frags leave that pipeline and become catalog items. Until then they are grow-out, not a product page. Mixing those two states is how farms oversell.

Who this is for

This is an Enterprise workflow for coral farms and shops that frag, not a hobbyist fragging checklist. A home tank can still log livestock and costs on Serious Reefer. The batch-and-supplier pipeline is the shop product.

Field notes and customer tanks stay available when a farm also services displays. Those are separate Enterprise modules on the same account.

Common questions

Can I record which colony a frag came from?

Yes. Propagation batches are the record of a cut, kept with suppliers and incoming shipments.

When does a frag become a product?

When you mark it sale-ready and publish it to the storefront. Before that it stays in the propagation pipeline.

Is propagation tracking on the hobbyist plan?

No. Batch, supplier, and shop propagation tools are part of Enterprise.
