When you create an account or use ReefDiary, we process data needed to provide the service — for example your email, account settings, tank and livestock records you enter, and subscription status.

With your consent, we also use analytics to understand product usage (see Cookies below). We do not sell your personal data.

How we use data

We use your data to operate ReefDiary, secure accounts, process subscriptions, send service-related communications, and improve the product. Analytics runs only if you opt in via the cookie banner.

Categories

• Functional (required): Session and security cookies needed to log in and use core features. These cannot be disabled while using the service.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 and first-party product analytics (pricing funnel events). Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.

Consent choices are stored in your browser (localStorage key reefdiary_cookie_consent). We may ask again if our cookie policy changes materially (consent version bump).

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Under no circumstances shall the developers, owners, or affiliates of the App be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

User Responsibility

Use of the App is at your sole discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, or any other consequences that may result from your use of the App.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App (or any part thereof) at any time without notice.
